About Me

Award-winning author Patricia Sargeant mixes sensual romances with suspenseful plots as a backdrop for her strong, engaging characters. Her story ideas come from her favorite question: What if? She then sets her characters loose to find the answers.

Patricia's romantic suspense novel, You Belong To Me, earned third place in the 2006 Reviewers International Organization's Award of Excellence in the Favorite Debut Novel Category. Her second romantic suspense, On Fire, will be available September 2007. It's the first of a trilogy set in Charleston, West Virginia.

Born in the West Indies and raised in New York City, Patricia now lives in Ohio with her husband.

In addition to the international Romance Writers of America® (RWA®) organization, Patricia is a member of two RWA chapters, the Central Ohio Fiction Writers and the Futuristic, Fantasy & Paranormal chapters. She's also a member of the International Black Writers Association.
